Many factors influenced districts' ability to provide remote instruction in Spring 2020. This session will explore the results of a survey of teachers, resource providers, and administrators from public schools in Santa Clara County to understand how a number of factors, such as pedagogical technological knowledge, use of Universal Design for Learning, access to district supports, ability to reach students, and so on influenced the transformation of schools from face-to-face to remote instruction. Our discussion will include considerations of the topics for professional development to support remote and inclusive instruction.
