This workshop is for everyone! Participants will receive an introduction to infant mental health, review the latest research on trauma-informed/-sensitive care, and explore the implications of their role as a caregiver during this post-COVID-19 era. We will share ways to ameliorate the impact of toxic stress and improve access to quality care, particularly for children who are homeless and children with special needs. In addition, participants will leave with strategies to create safe, regulated and inclusive settings, purposeful activities to promote self-regulation and learning, and ways to improve the quality of engagement with all of our youngest children
